This document outlines a plan to adapt lessons for an introductory business class using SMART Board technology. The target students are college freshmen business majors who have historically struggled in the course, achieving an average GPA of 2.6. The adapted lesson plan aims to increase interaction and engagement by incorporating interactive attendance, multimedia presentations of new material using drag-and-drop activities and external videos, relating concepts to simple examples, and offering review games with incentives for participation. By presenting information through multiple mediums, the lessons are designed to accommodate different learning styles and provide opportunities for improved understanding and feedback through instant assessment of students' comprehension.
