In 2012, trust in financial services was at 43 percent on a global basis. In 2016, global trust in this industry is at 51 percent – an 8-point increase over this five-year period, the most of any industry the barometer surveys.
Financial services, however, is still the least trusted industry we survey. Trust is too fragile, and today’s financial services climate is too unpredictable for companies to rest on their laurels. The industry needs to continue to be dynamic and double-down on trust building solutions.

The global rebound of trust has failed to take root in Hong Kong. Following years of declines, taking Hong Kong from the fifth to seventeenth most trusting nation surveyed, this year’s results indicate an ongoing sense of uncertainty about the future of the SAR’s institutions.
This year’s lecture will include a deep analysis of trust in CEOs and roadmap for CEOs to address the trust gap in Hong Kong, with sentiment towards business leaders here failing to match the improvements recorded globally.

Trust Me - the science of trust in technology leadershipKate Matsudaira
No matter where you are in your organization, you want to be trusted by your boss, your team, and your friends. You want to be trusted to do a good job. You want to be someone who others can count on when things go wrong (and in operations roles, they frequently do). However, building trust isn't always so straightforward. Sure, you can earn someone's trust over time, but in the devops world, where you are bridging different disciplines and communication is key, how can you be sure you come off as trustworthy right away to the many people who depend on you? This talk will cover some of the science behind why people trust one another and give you some specific strategies to help you build trust and level up your career.
Estate planning can be a complex process that utilizes a wide variety of legal tools and strategies to achieve your end-of-life and legacy goals. Learn more about Indiana trust in this presentation.
Here are 6 out of 10 helpful tips on how to build trust in a relationship. For 4 more tips of this type, click the link: http://vkool.com/how-to-build-trust/.
1. Do Exactly What You Say
Doing exactly what you say is the very first step to make others trust you because actions always speak louder than words. If possible, you should always do better than what you say. For example, if you already said that you could complete 90 percent of work, you should try to fulfill more rather than less of it.
2. Honor Your Promises
If you want to be trusted by others, you should be a dependable person. For example, after making a promise, you had better try to meet it well. If you cannot meet it for some reasons, try to explain it to the promisee decently. After that, create a new promise, and make sure to meet it this time.
Making a promise is always easier than fulfilling it. Therefore, before making any promise, you had better think thoroughly whether you can meet it or not. If the possibility of meeting a promise is not very high, do not make it.
3. Tell The Truth
Being honest or telling the truth is one among the best tips on how to build trust in a relationship. We all know that the truth may hurt for a while, but a lie hurts forever. Therefore, you should always tell the truth for long-term benefits. In case you cannot tell the truth, just keep silence rather than telling a lie.
4. Display Loyalty
You can display your loyalty by protecting other people, especially when they are not present to join your conversation. This is one among the most important techniques on how to build trust as trust is mainly built by honesty and loyalty.
5. Be Competent
Being competent means you can do many things well. If you have good professional ability and interpersonal communication skills, people will not only respect and admire you, but also trust you easily. Therefore, you should learn to build good manners, social skills, and even working skills as a preparation for building trust. When you are competent, you will become reliable, and be trusted by others.
6. Be Objective
Being objective is also a helpful tip on how to build trust in a relationship. When you decide to do something, consider objectively how other people will think about it. Put yourself in others’ shoes, and you will know how they feel, and what they think. The more objective you are, the easier you can build trust.
Trust is always one of the crucial keys to success. If you can get your friends to trust you, your life will certainly be pleasant. If you can make your boss trust you, you can get a promotion really fast. If you can get your spouse to trust you, you will certainly be happy in your family.

A talk about ux, trust and privacy - and how these are becoming increasing important in human-computer interaction. This connection we have with our smart-everythings, it is no longer merely about exchanging data back and forth. Our connection with computers now does revolve around values which we normally find in human-to-human relationships: understanding and trust.
We humans expect that these machines do the computing effort to understand us; smart personalisation. We also expect that we can trust these machines – and the companies behind them - to keep what they learn about us to themselves. We expect them to respect our privacy. Our security.
And as designers, we need to deliver great, personal experiences. We also need to deliver trustworthy products. We owe it to both our users and the people who hire us to actively think about privacy, and to implement privacy in the flows and designs we deliver.

February 12, 2015 Correction: A previous version of this report incorrectly labeled the data on slide 11 as being about information “created by each author on social networking sites, content sharing sites and online-only information sources.” The data is not about trust in authors but trust in sources, and the label has been updated.
February 5, 2015 Correction: A previous version of this report stated in a headline on slide 20 that an “expert” and "a person like yourself" are twice as credible as a CEO - they are more credible by at least 20 percentage points; a Jeff Bezos quote on slide 23 misused “business" for “society."
January 28, 2015 Correction: A previous version of this report had reversed the labeling of business and government on slide 46 in the appendix.

2017 Edelman Trust Barometer - Canadian ResultsEdelman
The Canadian data this year Edelman Trust Barometer uncovers some very worrying trends that we ignore at our peril. And this is true whether you hail from a business, the government or the media.
Take a look at the results of this year’s Trust Barometer in Canada.

You can't sell your pi coins in the pi network app. because it is not listed yet on any exchange.
The only way you can sell is by trading your pi coins with an investor (a person looking forward to hold massive amounts of pi coins before mainnet launch) .
You don't need to meet the investor directly all the trades are done with a pi vendor/merchant (a person that buys the pi coins from miners and resell it to investors)

Yes. You can sell your pi network coins in South Korea or any other country, by finding a verified pi merchant
What is a verified pi merchant?
Since pi network is not launched yet on any exchange, the only way you can sell pi coins is by selling to a verified pi merchant, and this is because pi network is not launched yet on any exchange and no pre-sale or ico offerings Is done on pi.
Since there is no pre-sale, the only way exchanges can get pi is by buying from miners. So a pi merchant facilitates these transactions by acting as a bridge for both transactions.

The European Unemployment Puzzle: implications from population agingGRAPE
We study the link between the evolving age structure of the working population and unemployment. We build a large new Keynesian OLG model with a realistic age structure, labor market frictions, sticky prices, and aggregate shocks. Once calibrated to the European economy, we quantify the extent to which demographic changes over the last three decades have contributed to the decline of the unemployment rate. Our findings yield important implications for the future evolution of unemployment given the anticipated further aging of the working population in Europe. We also quantify the implications for optimal monetary policy: lowering inflation volatility becomes less costly in terms of GDP and unemployment volatility, which hints that optimal monetary policy may be more hawkish in an aging society. Finally, our results also propose a partial reversal of the European-US unemployment puzzle due to the fact that the share of young workers is expected to remain robust in the US.
