Job Description

1. ED CENTER DIRECTOR
Seeking a person to run the Yuma Conservation Garden. This
person will be working with the schools on tours and giving
instructional classes on the Garden (we prefer that the classes be
done at the Garden, but some are done at the schools). This
candidate must be able to obtain a fingerprint clearance card and be
bondable. The Conservation Garden would like someone who can
write grants, but that is not a requirement.
They must be personable, great with the public, they must be the face
of the Garden (work with the media as well), they must be able to deal
with volunteers and help recruit volunteers, must be able to list 50lbs
of grain. They must be able to open up and close the Garden on the
weekends (Sat. 9-5 and Sunday 10-5) when it’s open to the public.
This is a 10-15 hours per week job.
Pay Rate $15/hr
