If you work in the healthcare field, this session is for you. The Trends Identification Report, written by the American Association of Medical Society Executives, will be shared and discussed. The report is written by experienced medical society executives who share their ideas on the future of health care in the US. Trends include electronic medical records and health information technology, access to health care, public health infrastructure, patient safety, quality of care, and the changing healthcare workforce.

Editor's Notes
Welcome to FAHA! I want to give you the opportunity to learn who we are and what services we provide. As you can see from our vision statement, it is our goal to prepare the future health professionals for dynamic careers.
It is our mission to inspire students. We challenge you to rise up to the opportunities FAHA provides and prepare you for a fulfilling career in health care.
All programs are between 7 and 12 months in length and concludes with an externship. The externship is an opportunity for students to actually work in their respective fields with professionals who are aware of your abilities and enjoy providing the finishing touches to perfecting your training.
There are no hidden or additional fees added to the cost of tuition.
We have a financial aid department dedicated to assisting you with the paperwork and questions you might have. The Financial Aid Department is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am-6:00pm and Saturdays from 9:00am until noon.
Florida Allied Health Academy will challenge students to be committed to their future health care professions. We will inspire students to have a positive learning experience, work hard, and make sure every graduate is prepared for the professional health care job force.
Our careers services department is dedicated to lifelong employment support for all of our past graduates. They will assist in job leads, resume writing, and interview skills, as well as provide job leads for our students who are currently in need of finding work while in school.
We are providing educational training for health care opportunities that are displaying tremendous growth rate. Educations at FAHA will sustain careers that will be the foundation for lifetime occupations.
Each program has a student level professional organization the students can join to begin networking within their professions.
The professional organizations are sponsored by FAHA’s instructors and/or advisory board members.
Why do you need to know this?
FAHA maintains accreditation compliance in order to ensure the students that they are receiving current curriculum that meets specific standards. The accreditation process is continuous and must be constantly monitored and reviewed.
The student professional organizations organize a variety of volunteer events to give back to the community.
FAHA also sponsors community events such as the annual “5k Turkey Trot” to raise money and for those who are in need.
We will have a variety of staff available after the presentation to answer your questions: career advisors, financial aid, instructors, and current students.
This was another FAHA sponsored “Color Run” the students, faculty, and staff participated in last year!
