Usually it is a region which is distinguished by
its common natural features of geography,

world? Why?
• Biodiversity is important because Ecuador is one of the most biodiverse
places in the world. This means that ther are species of plants and animals
that do not exist any where else in the world. It is important for many
reasons. Scientists can study these unique species and discover new
medicines. It is important to conserve nature.
