ECOPLAST FIBER JSC recycles polyethylene terephthalate bottles into PET flake and then polyester staple fibers. It has an annual production capacity of 5000 tons of PET flake and 8500-9000 tons of polyester staple fibers. The company aims to continuously improve product quality to better position itself in international and Bulgarian markets against large European, Chinese, Indian, and Taiwanese competitors through high quality, reasonably priced fibers. ECOPLAST produces hollow siliconized and solid non-siliconized polyester staple fibers in various linear densities, cut lengths, and colors for applications including automotive, nonwoven textiles, and apparel industries.
