Entrepreneurship is an issue that causes a lot of controversy. Some people assert that becoming an
entrepreneur is a solution for young students; some others argue that this statement is not so obvious, since the
implementation of a business demands investment and requires capital, capital that is not easy to obtain. This
article looks at a sample of 275 college students in Portugal and seeks to investigate if there is any relationship
of entrepreneurial intentions of university students and some variables as training areas, higher education
institutions, gender, age and family influences. To achieve this goal, a survey was carried out to college
students, trying to understand how the training schools encouraged the creation of an entrepreneurial culture,
in what extent students were motivated to entrepreneurship and what are their intents for the future. The results
demonstrate that entrepreneurial education is the basis of cultivating the entrepreneurial spirit in college
students. The training areas, the ambition of having his/her/own business, having a great idea and having
family´s history of entrepreneurial characteristics are the main causes that influence entrepreneurial intentions
in college students.
This article aims to examine whether the “Stra.Tech.Man” approach (Vlados, 2004), which explores the dialectical synthesis between strategy, technology, and management inside all socioeconomic organisms fulfills the requirements to be an analysis of evolutionary direction. It tries to answer this question, in particular, by examining the theoretical foundations of evolutionary economics and the subsequent evolutionary theorization of the firm that stems analytically from evolutionary economics. With this goal in mind, an overview of the relatively recent literature is attempted by presenting some of the significant contributions to evolutionary economics and the evolutionary theory of the firm. Next, it examines the specific way of building the Stra.Tech.Man approach on the production process of innovation and change management, by analyzing how this can lead to the structuration of an evolutionary direction of business planning for any socioeconomic organism.

The study sought to evaluate the predominant leadership styles, the leadership effectiveness,
and the relationship between leadership effectiveness and innovation management of a group
of executives of several organizations.

VALUE CHAIN DRIVEN HUMAN CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT: AN EVIDENCE FROM AGRICULTURAL V...ijmvsc
Human capital development (HCD) among farmers is a fundamental issue for any developing agrarian
economy. Though education is the prime factor influencing human development, the education provided by
governments to the rural population alone cannot ensure HCD. It is proved in India by efficient working
models like ICT’s e-Choupal and modern agriculture with contract farming that well governed supply
chain practice, development of value chain to serve different customers and transparent interface between
markets and the farmer provide best opportunity for farmers to apply their knowledge (tacit and acquired)
for their social and economic wellbeing, leading to real HCD.
The present study explores whether existing agricultural value chains induce uniform HCD among farmers
of paddy, dry chilli, sugarcane and marigold which are being cultivated and traded in varied formats in
Karnataka. The outcome of the study confirms that efficient value chain that provides free and fair
opportunities for farmers to trade at farm gate is an important factor that drives HCD among farmers.

Discovery of key factors that may influence the success of multinational ICT ...Anand Sheombar
This overview paper presents results of an investigation into the nature of key factors that
may influence the success of multinational information and communication technology
(ICT) companies in their efforts to engage with the Base of the Pyramid (BOP).
The research was conducted in 10 BOP projects involving multinational ICT companies in
Africa. ICT is relevant here because of frequently high expectations that it contributes
positively to development goals. A study of the BOP literature reveals that several elements
need consideration when trying to create value in developing areas. In addition it
emerges that these elements are somehow interdependent. Qualitative data was collected
using the case study method and the data was analyzed for emerging patterns.
The analysis revealed three high level factors that may need to be aligned in order to ensure
optimized value creation of BOP ventures. These three factors are BOP strategy, partnerships,
and products & services development.

Implicitly or explicitly all competing businesses employ a strategy to select a mix
of marketing resources. Formulating such competitive strategies fundamentally
involves recognizing relationships between elements of the marketing mix (e.g.,
price and product quality), as well as assessing competitive and market conditions
(i.e., industry structure in the language of economics).

Understanding User Needs and Satisfying ThemAggregage
https://www.productmanagementtoday.com/frs/26903918/understanding-user-needs-and-satisfying-them
We know we want to create products which our customers find to be valuable. Whether we label it as customer-centric or product-led depends on how long we've been doing product management. There are three challenges we face when doing this. The obvious challenge is figuring out what our users need; the non-obvious challenges are in creating a shared understanding of those needs and in sensing if what we're doing is meeting those needs.
In this webinar, we won't focus on the research methods for discovering user-needs. We will focus on synthesis of the needs we discover, communication and alignment tools, and how we operationalize addressing those needs.
Industry expert Scott Sehlhorst will:
• Introduce a taxonomy for user goals with real world examples
• Present the Onion Diagram, a tool for contextualizing task-level goals
• Illustrate how customer journey maps capture activity-level and task-level goals
• Demonstrate the best approach to selection and prioritization of user-goals to address
• Highlight the crucial benchmarks, observable changes, in ensuring fulfillment of customer needs

They listen to their intuitive sense. They relate well to others. They are eager to learn whatever skills are necessary to reach their goal. They learn from their mistakes.
