Alterations to current plans
1. Please put in electricity and water points in garden area ie services
should be available for us to heart polytunnel and water plants.
2. The grass section of the student garden should be replaced with a
wildlife stepped pond for pond studies. The grass area is not an
educational resource.
3. Boundary fence must prevent any access to the garden area but
should have
• Wildlife access points e.g. flexible piping of various diameters to
allow access by foxes, small mammals and insect life
• A secure gate at the back allowing exit and entry of Ecoschools
group to wooded area and river.
4. All fences must be at least 3meters high if not more.
5. Out dower classroom and flower beds with seating in playground
must be able to stand all forms of vandalise or can be easily fixed.
6. Any grass areas inside ecoscools area must be left uncut so meadow
plants can grow.
7. More security cameras covering gardens, outdoor class room and
plant areas in playground.
8. Some of the allotments have raised beds put in.
9. Paths leading from eco group area must be properly lead e.g bark
chips.
10.some allotments should be cultivated beds
11.Indoor plant room reasonable sized to allow classes in to work and
grow indoor and hot house plants.
12.storage area to store eco group equipment e.g garden equipment
13.Vehicle access to gardens (must be secure).
14.All gates must be secure.
15.School bins must be squirrel and rodent proof.
16.All planted areas must be secured.
17.Possible seconded polytunnel.
18.More hedged areas to encourage wildlife.
19.All flower beds must be easily maintained.
20.Litter problems must be addressed and taken care of.
21.Railway totally secured off.
22.Small ornamental gardens and vegetable patches.
