The fashion industry is the second most polluting business due to fast fashion and lack of sustainability. EcoFashion proposes collecting discarded fabric from recycling banks near populated areas to be refurbished locally into new clothes, rags, or other materials. This would educate the public, especially youth, about sustainability while providing a convenient recycling solution, as transporting textiles to distant recycling centers is currently inconvenient. The prototype would test collecting and sorting fabric locally to be transformed and resold in the community.
