This document provides information on Eric Christiansen, an experienced filmmaker, and his proposal for a new documentary project called "After the Disaster". The project would take a close look at human resilience in the aftermath of disasters through chronicling survivors' experiences. It would include reflections from past disaster survivors and clinical input from an expert in trauma and disaster recovery. The documentary has potential for theatrical release, film festivals, public television broadcast, and institutional use to help disaster survivors and workers.

Approximately 25% of SFH is already shot. This footage was shot 3 years
ago in preparation for the 25 minute teaser. This footage has become a
valuable asset to the project. This footage documents the SFH subjects
3 years ago and providing chronological historical record. In the final
film will revisit all the same subjects (plus many more) offering a
compelling story that spans time. This aspect injects SFH with the
dimension of time that will greatly add to the finished piece.
