 The people of the eastern
woodlands use animal skins for
clothes. Deer skin was very
common.
 The men wore breech clothes
when it was warm. They added
deerskin shirts, leggings,
moccasins, and sometimes fur
robes when it was colder. The
women wore wrap skirts, shirts,
leggings, and moccasins. Women
also wore their hair long. Beads
of shells, called wampum, were
woven into there clothes for
decoration.
