Welcome to Term 3- Weeks 1 to 5
This term all classes will be delivered online due to the
COVID-19 virus. You will have 4 hours of classes everyday
Monday to Friday at the times stated on your timetable.
ILC: you should study privately at least 5 hours a week using the Guided Learning
materials for your level on CANVAS and other suggestions from your teachers.
Practice: It is important you do all homework assigned to you by your teacher.
Attendance: If absent, you are marked absent. You MUST keep your attendance at
minimum 80%. Attendance will be monitored by your teacher during the class both
morning and afternoon.
It is REALLY IMPORTANT that you check your student email twice a day and that you
join your LOOP class. You will need to download the LOOP App.

ASSESSMENT
Exams:
You will be notified of the arrangements for
assessment later in the term.
However, you will need to study for four hours a day
with your teacher and do all assignments and
homework, so you will be prepared for the reading,
listening and writing assessments when you return to
the campus. NO PROJECTS WILL RUN DURING
TERM 3.

Information that will be important once you are back on campus:
Special Consideration
Special Consideration (SC) updated application process
In line with Swinburne policies and regulations:
Students cannot apply for SC after they have completed an exam
Students have 2 working days after their exam to apply for SC
Students can apply for SC before their scheduled exams
Please note that Special Consideration application forms must be
completed in full: PAGE 3: Medical Impact Statement must be completed
by a registered medical/health practitioner (e.g. doctor/psychologist).
A statutory declaration (for medical reasons) or a standalone medical
certificate will NOT be accepted for special consideration.
Students can find the Application for Special Consideration at this link:

Students must submit completed Special Consideration applications at the
