• First appeared on the Arlene Francis Home Show,1956.
• Has been in continuous production by Herman Miller.
• Short period to Hille UK in the mid 1960’s but was withdrawn due to quality
issues.
• Other companies copy the chair’s design.
• Only two companies to produce these chairs with Eames names attached.
• Commemorate the 50th anniversary of the chair.

spines and wood panels.

• Seat of chair-a cast aluminium base
