This document describes an e-Aadhar system using biometrics. It includes an abstract, introduction, data flow diagram, module descriptions, proposed and existing systems, and screenshots. The system allows an admin to add Aadhar details and fingerprints. Users can login on an Android app, provide an Aadhar number and fingerprint, which are sent to a web server for verification by comparing to stored fingerprints. If they match, the user's details are returned, otherwise an error is shown. The proposed system aims to provide good governance and targeted delivery of subsidies through unique identification numbers. It concludes that Aadhar is a highly secure way to uniquely identify citizens in India and abroad.

3. ABSTRACT
 Recently Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) launched Aadhaar
scheme to provide Unique Identification (UID) number to every citizen of
India for individual identity.
 UID number (Aadhaar) is generated by using biometric data with
demographic data of an individual. Aadhaar is used as a document for
banking transactions, driving license, PAN card, to avail subsidy in LPG
cylinders etc.
 The issues are processing time is high (in seconds) which is not acceptable for
real time applications and further there is considerable false acceptance ratio
(FAR) due to poor quality of fingerprints, leading to failure in providing
uniqueness.
 Unreadable fingerprints due to scars, cuts, damages etc.

4. INTRODUCTION
Biometric identification has become increasingly popular in
recent years. With the development of cloud computing, database
owners are motivated to outsource the large size of biometric data and
identification tasks to the cloud to get rid of the expensive storage and
computation costs, which, however, brings potential threats to user’s
privacy. Specifically, the biometric to execute a biometric
identification, the database owner encrypts the query Aadhar number
data and submits it to the cloud

7. MODULE DESCRIPTION
The system is developed by using Java technologies which consists of
two Applications one web based Applications and other Android
Application.
Admin Module
•Admin is a super user he can login into web based Applications and
he can provide citizens Aadhar details along with Fingerprint into the
system.
•In web Application admin can able to create a new Aadhar as well as
he can able to view and edit Aadhar details.

8. User are verification retailers like when we want a new SIM in Airtel
or Idea cellular office they ask citizens to provide Aadhar card details and
Fingerprint. To solve this we have developed this module where user can able
to login and provide Aadhar card number and Fingerprint of corresponding
citizen which in turn send this details to web server where web server need to
compare fingerprint received and fingerprint stored in server for that particular
Aadhar card number . If both the fingerprint matches then it has to give
Android users all details of the citizen else it has to provide Error Message.

9. In October 2015, the Supreme Court ruled that the use of Aadhaar,
India's biometric-based identity number for residents, to access public
benefits like pensions and provident fund was voluntary, not mandatory.
But the Rajasthan government started the process of seeding or linking the
Aadhar numbers of all pension beneficiaries to bank accounts in March
of that year.” Those without Aadhar or bank accounts were struck off the
pension list and declared dead.

10. PROPOSED SYSTEM
In the proposed system of E-Aadhar provides good
governance, efficient, transparent and targeted delivery of
subsidies, benefits and services, the expenditure for which
is incurred from the Consolidated Fund of India, to
individuals residing in India through assigning of unique
identity numbers.

18. CONCLUSION
 I Conclude by saying that Aadhar is highly secure unique
identification through which any citizen can be uniquely identified.
 In foreign also with UID citizen can be easily identify their Indian
identity.
 Only Administrator can make the changes in the Data base.
 This E-Aadhar system is needed for our country to verify whether
the citizen who are getting a service from authorized company to
showcase whether the details provided by them genuine or not.
 This system is tested with the sample data and the experimental
result shows this system is performing well according to the
distinct specification.
 Hope this system will be useful to the society.
