1. Large file sharing via mediafire
During your work, you may want to send and receive materials via email. If the files are not too
large (smaller than 10 mb), the function of file attachment in emailing systems (e.g. yahoo mail
and gmail) can be used. However, things get challenging if the file is too large, like powerpoint
presentations with images, videos and sounds embedded. One solution is to split the files in to
smaller parts and send one by one. The 2nd
solution, faster and more convenient, is to upload the
file as it is to an online file hosting and send the download link to receiver.
There are lots of online file hosts like rapidshare, megaupload, esnips, yousendit, etc. However,
www.mediafire.com is recommended here for its sharp advantages: easy to use, absolutely free,
and high up/download speed (up to over 1 Mb/s with good connection, compared to 60-100Kb/s
by other hosts).

2. Mediafire request users to register an account before they can upload documents.
If you haven’t got an account, click Sign Up to register.
Select Free (GET STARTED) and follow directions.

3. You may also log in using your Facebook account.
After logging in, click ADD FILES => UPLOAD FILES => From computer, wait for the upload
interface.
4. You may drag and drop your files to the plus sign (+) in the middle of the screen to be uploaded,
or click at this plus sign to select the file to be uploaded. Click Begin Upload.
5. Once this screen is shown, click Copy Link to get the link and send it to receivers. You may also
want to click Share.
Enter your email address and that of your receivers. Receivers get the following screen when
clicking the link:
6. Click Click here to start download (the file size can be up to 200mb).
