2. My Favourite Places in Dublin
The International bar is on
Wicklow Street not far from
Grafton street, and features a
small comedy club upstairs
big enough for about 15 to 20
people. Since the audience is
very small the comedians
have the chance to speak to
everyone in the room, my
friends and I sat right at the
front, so most of the
conversation was with us.

3. My Favourite Places in Dublin
Murray’s Bar and Grill is a
cosy pub on O'Connell
Street, and features live
Irish folk music and dance
every night, and makes for
a lively and fun
experience.

4. Things I’ve done in Dublin
During Halloween I went on the
Dublin Ghost Bus. It is a tour of
allegedly haunted areas in the city,
the tour takes you into a cemetery
and you are told the stories of body
snatchers. You are also taken into a
medieval vault under Dublin Castle
and learn the stories of how the
prisoners who were kept there were
tortured.
(Ghostbus, 2017)
5. Settling in to Student life
It didn’t take me too long to feel comfortable in Dublin as I
had friends here who are now in there second year of
university so making friends was not an issue for me
It took about 6 weeks to get settled into Dublin and learning
where to go for restaurants, shops, bars etc
I am very comfortable at the ISC other students are very
friendly as well as the teachers
