In English 415, Law & Literature, students will be introduced to legal issues, concepts, themes, & theories by reading selected literature. Some of the readings will come from the writings of President Barack Obama & John Grisham. Through the readings & class discussions, students will realize that legal issues permeate society. Students will learn that reading literature with legal themes can be a fascinating & enjoyable way to become acquainted with the law.

In English 415, Law and Literature, students will
be introduced to legal issues, concepts, themes, and
theories by reading selected literature. Some of
the readings will come from the writings of
President Barack Obama and John Grisham.

Through the readings and class discussions,
students will realize that legal issues are an
integral part of their lives and these legal issues
permeate society. Students will learn that reading
literature with legal themes can be a fascinating
and enjoyable way to become acquainted with the
law.
