a variety of applications. DSP Group is a world leader in the short-range wireless communication
market,enabling home networking convergence for voice, video &data.
By combining its in-house technologies of Digital Signal Processors(DSP's), portfolio of wireless
communication protocols,including DECT,Bluetooth and WiFi, most advanced Radio Frequency
CMOS and Site,as well as VoIP IC's, DSP Group is a world leader and cone-stop-shop for
a wide range of applications. These applications include, but are not limited to: ISM band
digital 900MHz,2.4GHz,5.8GHz, European(1.9GHz)telephony, Bluetooth systems for voice,
data and video communication and are deployed in residential,SOHO,SME,enterprise and
automotive applications. DSP Group IC's provide solutions for MP3 players, VoIP Phones,
Gateways,and Integrated Access Devices(IAD's)and are widely used in Digital Voice
Recorders(DVR's).
Acquisitions &Spin-off
In October 2004, DSP Group acquired the assets of Bermai Inc.for $5.1 million in cash.
Bermai developed an advanced WiFi technology based on the 802.11 a, b,g and e protocol
that is optimized for quality of service for video streaming applications. We plan to leverage
this technology to further develop and offer new communications products that will improve
the quality of wireless video,voice and data communications in the residence.
~ In May 2003, DSP Group acquired the assets of Teleman Multimedia Inc.for $5 million in
cash.Teleman had an advanced silicon platform for video compression and decompression,
designed to interface with image sensors and panel displays.
~ In October 2002, DSPG spun-off its DSP Cores licensing activities and merged this activity
with Parthus Technologies.The new company was named ParthusCeva Inc.(NASDAQ:CEVA).
~ In 2001, DSPG acquired the remaining 29% of VoicePump,Inc., completing the acquisition
of the software design company specializing in VoIP.
In 1999,DSP Group acquired two integrated groups of engineers,specializing in the design
of integrated circuits for wireless and RF communications.

Among the major consumer electronics manufacturers and telecom operators using DSP
Group's chips are: Panasonic, Uniden,CCT Telecom, Motorola,Samsung,Sagem,Thomson,
General Electric, North Western Bell,South Western Bell, Conair,~G Electronics,Cenix,Yamaha,
Sony, Deutsche Telecom, France Telecom,Swisscom and Belgacom.
