2. EXT. CASTLE - DRIVEWAY. NIGHT
Mark has driven to Sydney's house. It is late October nearly
Halloween and he comes dressed in a casual wear. He then walks
to the front door, whilst doing this he is playing with his
hair and making sure that he looks good. He is very nervous.
Mark then rings the door bell.
MARK
(singing)
Ding Dong. Ding Dong. The door bells
ringing, time for you to answer the
door!
Mark then waits patiently for sydney.
DOMINIC
( Transylvanian accents)
So, we have this fool coming to date
my daughter, a stupid weak bleeding
fool, why would anyone want to date
these pathetic creatures.
INT. CASTLE- UPSTAIRS- SYDNEY’S ROOM. NIGHT
Sydney is in her room putting her make-up on before the door
rings. She is also feeling very anxious as it rings.
INT. CASTLE- UPSTAIRS- DOMINIC’S COFFIN ROOM
Dominic also hears the bell and he is very aggressive due to
not feeding for a few months. Dominic is wearing a red cape
and black clothing.
DOMINIC
(Deep, booming, scary voice)
Who is that at my door? I smell
blood. This is now my feast for the
day.
Dominic races down stairs towards the door in order for him to
attack his victim.
SYDNEY
No! Dad he’s my date. Leave him alone.
Why wont you let me live a normal life,
I didn’t choose to be a vampire you
know?

3. Sydney begins to cry.
DOMINIC
Oh no. A female crying, as a parent
I should comfort her but as the king
of evil. Ha!
DOMINIC
(aggressively)
You are going on a date without my
permission. Really? Lets see if he
likes you this much to be my feast.
Dominic then grabs Sydney and pushes her aside.
SYDNEY
Dad! Don’t you dare. If you do bite
him. I will disown you and never
talk to you again. I will leave
home.
DOMINIC
You wouldn’t dare?
SYDNEY
Yes I would. Try me? Let me go on
this date, he’s the first boy that
shows any interest in me.
DOMINIC
Fine!! But you never go on a date
again for as long as I am alive and
you known Im already 745 years old
so that not going to be any time
soon.
DOMINIC
So I let her go, as a good father.
Aren’t I a good father? Of course I
am.
He then lets Sydney answer the door so that she can leave the
house and then go get and meet Mark. She is dressed in a typi-
cal gothic dress that is red and black.
EXT. CASTLE- FRONT DOOR

4. Sydney opens the door to greet Mark. Whilst Dominic is stand-
ing behind the door, listening to the conversation that they
are having.
MARK
What took you so long? Making your-
self looking as beautiful as ever.
You eye-liner looks on point so it
was worth the wait.
DOMINIC
Hahaa!! He tries to be nice to the
female, what a creep.
SYDNEY
Yes. I was doing my make up and
thank you but Im not beautiful.
MARK
Well I wouldn’t date you if you
weren't beautiful. Those legs look
sexy anyway.
DOMINIC
(Aggressively)
WHAT?
Dominic is very aggressive at the comment that Mark has made.
Dominic slams the door in Marks face.
DOMINIC
You are not going on that date with
that. that... Pervert
SYDNEY
Yes I am. He was only joking, he
didn’t mean it in a sexual way. Bye
dad Ill be back at Midnight.
Sydney leaves the castle, her and Mark walk to his car whilst
Dominic stares at them through the window.
INT. MARKS CAR- NIGHT.
Mark is driving a Nissan Juke. He and her get in the car and
embrace and kiss whilst in there at which Dominic is still
watching.

5. MARK
Tell me about your family. You’re
father seems very controlling and
protective.
SYDNEY
He is I hate him. He prefers my
brother over me, sometimes I feel
like he doesn’t even love me, I
don’t think he’s protective, I think
he’s just too controlling.
MARK
What about you’re mom?
DOMINIC
Can I say this on camera? Imma say
it anyway. She’s a bitch!
SYDNEY
I don’t have a mom, she was murdered
shortly after my brothers birth. I
only live with my father and brother
and their both annoying.
MARK
Ive not got my father, he ran off
shortly after I was born, it’s just
me and my mom now. Anyway should we
get off now,we’ll miss the film oth-
erwise?
They then start to drive off and start get going on the route
for the cinema to watch the film. The drive to the cinemas is
a 20 minute drive and in the car neither characters do much
talking.
MARK
Do you want to connect your phone up
to my car and put your music on.
SYDNEY
Yes please! What do I DO?
MARK
Put you’re bluetooth on and connect
to Nissan Connect. Then press aux
twice. Then play you’re music.

6. Sydney then does this. She then puts her music on. She then
puts on some heavy rock music which she then sings along too,
but Mark has never heard it before. They then listen to this
until they get to the cinema.
EXT. CINEMA NIGHT.
They walk to the cinema just as they have parked up.
INT. CINEMA NIGHT.
Mark then grabs Sydney’s hand and holds it until they go to
the pay desk. They still continually not to talk to each other
at all. They continue to hold hands but look very awkward
whilst doing so.
MARK
Two tickets for Dracula’s Wife.
CASHIER
Yep thats fine. Anything else?
MARK
Could I also have two large cokes
and popcorns?
The cashier hands over the two tickets to Sydney and the coke
and popcorn to Mark and then go to the cinema screening and
the seats.
INT. CINEMA SCREENING NIGHT.
The cinema contains 3 couples. The adverts are already playing
whilst they are in the film.
SYDNEY
Thank you for paying for me. You
really shouldn’t have but thanks.
MARK
I know how to spoil my girl. Im
happy to give it you baby.
DOMINIC
How are you still watching this
film. Its worse than Twilight.
They begin to kiss at the cinema while the advertisements are
playing. The cinema only contains 2 other couples, they are
also making out, there is a wide-shot showing all people in
the cinema and what they are doing.

7. CUT TO
The film is now half way through and we get to a scene where
Female Dracula falls in love with a human, which is being
played in the background.
MARK
Wouldn’t you think dating a vampire
would be sexy? You’re pretty much
vampire just without the blood suck-
ing, but to be honest Id prefer you
if you did suck blood, Id get the
full experience.
Sydney does not respond but looks blankly at the cinema screen
and thinks about telling Mark the truth. Sydney continues to
watch the screen and the film continues, we have a close up of
Sydney’s face.
SYDNEY
I am a vampire, Mark!
MARK
‘Course you are?
SYDNEY
Don’t you believe me?
Mark does not respond to Sydney's question. Sydney now stares
at Mark and then she shows him her teeth, Mark’s reaction is
full of fear. He tries to run out of the cinema.
SYDNEY
I thought you’d like a vampire girl-
friend?
MARK
I was only joking, you psycho!
DOMINIC
Didn’t I tell you that boy was bad
news. Im Gonna bite him again when
he comes back here. But Anyway whos
number 1 Dad? ...
Not me.. What??? Come here bleeder!
Sydney grabs Mark and pulls his neck towards her and she then
bites him and drinks his blood. This will eventually knock him
out and she sits him back in his chair and continues to watch
the film.
