Dr. Paul Zarda has had a long and accomplished career at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control since 1980. Some of his achievements include acquiring structural analysis software and a pre- and post- processor for the IBM 3084 system in 1980 and 1982. He also helped acquire Lockheed Martin's first VAX 11/780 computer and communication links between IBM and VAX systems. Beyond his career, Dr. Zarda has received recognition for his patented tennis racquet design and his 1974 Ph.D. thesis providing a theoretical explanation for red blood cell deformation.
