Water is essential for life, and staying hydrated is crucial for maintaining overall health and well-being. We often hear about the importance of drinking enough water, but can you ever have too much of a good thing? In this article, we will explore the concept of overhydration and its potential impact on the body.

We often hear about the importance of drinking enough water, but can you ever have too much of a good thing? In this article, we will explore the concept of overhydration and its potential impact on the body.
Dehydration has serious effects on the body. People who do not drink enough water are at risk for fatigue, skin disorders, digestive problems, and joint pains. A recent research, however, revealed that dehydration’s effects might even affect the severity of a stroke.
Water is a transparent fluid which forms the world’s streams, lakes, oceans and rain and it is the major constituent of the fluids of living things. It is the cradle of life which is a common heritage. Pure water is a clear, colourless and tasteless and odourless liquid with a boiling point of 100oC , a freezing point of 0oC, maximum density of 1g/cm3 at 4oC.Water is an important but often overlooked nutrient .The normal human body contains 40 liters of water. Water is not only vital for mere existence, but it is also essential for optimum health. An insufficient amount of water causes weakness, problematic skin, a weakened immune system—virtually every health issue under the sun requires water as part of the “healing squad.” Electrochemical system of water treatment has not received adequate attention. Electrochemistry, a link between chemistry and electronic science has been proven to be a clean, versatile and powerful tool for development of a new advanced method for water purification. Electrochemically reduced water is functional water which is capable of destroying microorganisms present in water and also can scavenge reactive oxygen species hence free radicals. The active agents in reduced water are hydrogen (atoms and molecules), minerals and nanoparticles.

The importance of drinking water
1. 80% of human diseases are related to water. Drinking high quality drinking water is good for health and longevity.
2. Improve attention, it can help the brain maintain vitality and keep new information firmly in memory.
3. Improve immunity, it can improve the vitality of the immune system and fight against bacterial invasion.
4. Antidepressant, substance that stimulates neurogenesis to fight depression.
5. Anti insomnia, water is essential for making natural sleep regulators.
6. Anticancer, make hematopoiesis system work normally, help prevent many kinds of cancer.
7. Prevention of disease, it can prevent the blockage of blood vessels in the heart and brain.
8. Supplement the necessary water of human body, which is conducive to blood dilution, metabolism, moisturizing and beautifying the skin. It can defecate, digest food easily, and won't get all kinds of stones. Water is the scavenger who extends into the body, which can prevent dry eyes and avoid rapid decline of vision. There are many benefits of drinking more water, especially getting up in the morning and drinking a glass of water half an hour before going to bed. It benefits a lot every day throughout the year.
9. We all know that drinking water is good for your health, but it's worth noting how much you should drink. Especially for people with kidney problems or poor metabolism (such as those who are prone to edema), the intake of water should be more cautious. In the past, there have been reports of drinking water and water poisoning, because you don't know the problem caused by taking a lot of water at a time. Water intake varies according to each person's condition.
10. Water (H2O) is an inorganic substance composed of hydrogen and oxygen. It is a colorless and tasteless transparent liquid under normal temperature and pressure. Water is one of the most common substances, an important resource for the survival of all life, including human beings, and also the most important component of organisms.
11. The minerals and microelements we need are mainly from food, and the absence of minerals in water will not affect the overall situation. As the necessary and beneficial microelements for human body, although they mainly come from food, the microelements in water mostly exist in the form of ions, which are easier to penetrate into cells and be absorbed by human body.
12. The importance of water to the human body, the approximate composition of the human body, protein, 17%, fat, 14%, carbohydrate, 1.5%, calcium and other minerals, 6%, and the rest 70% are water, that is to say, 2 / 3 of the human body is water.
13. Many people like to drink a glass of water before going to bed. Some people say that drinking water before going to bed will increase the burden on kidneys and increase the number of nights; but not drinking water before going to bed will increase blood viscosity and easily induce card ...
Water is fundamental forever. From the time that primitive species wandered from the seas to live ashore, a significant key to endurance has been counteraction of drying out. The basic variations cross a variety of species, including man.
Without water, people can endure just for quite a long time. Water contains from 75% body weight in babies to 55% in older and is fundamental for cell homeostasis and life.1 In any case there are numerous unanswered inquiries regarding this most fundamental part of our body and our eating routine.
This survey endeavors to give some feeling of our ebb and flow information on water including generally examples of admission and a few elements connected with consumption, the mind boggling components behind water homeostasis, the impacts of variety in water admission on wellbeing and energy admission, weight, and human execution and working.
Experiencing regular thirst, dry mouth, cracked lips, constant tiredness, dry skin and headaches, I decided to do a simple research to find out why I was having these symptoms. Only now did I realize that it was a direct cause of sedentary lifestyle, long hours in air-conditioned environment, and extremely low intake of fluids. Having realized my status which is “I am dehydrated”, I am now consciously rectifying them by practicing hydrotherapy as a way of life. I am seeing positive results from my practice. It was from these positive outcomes that I was motivated to write this article.
What we can conclude from this article is it doesn’t matter whether it is tap water or bottled water. What matters is that the water must be treated and disinfected. At the point of consumption it must be safe and free from most contaminants. And it is this quality of safe drinking water that we need to consume from a minimum of 2.7 liters to 3.7 liters daily dependent on factors like gender, age, activities, temperature and life style. We should make hydrotherapy as a way of life for our health and wellbeing.
There is nothing on Earth more important to life than water.
People are having trouble getting the amount and quality of water they need for drinking, cooking, bathing, hand washing, and increasing food.
Amazing progress has been made in making clean drinking water in developed countries available to 2.6 billion people.
That's an improvement over that period from 76 percent of the global population to 91 percent.
But there are still many opportunities through better sanitation and hygiene education to multiply the benefits of clean water

CDSCO and Phamacovigilance {Regulatory body in India}NEHA GUPTA
The Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) is India's national regulatory body for pharmaceuticals and medical devices. Operating under the Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, the CDSCO is responsible for approving new drugs, conducting clinical trials, setting standards for drugs, controlling the quality of imported drugs, and coordinating the activities of State Drug Control Organizations by providing expert advice.
Pharmacovigilance, on the other hand, is the science and activities related to the detection, assessment, understanding, and prevention of adverse effects or any other drug-related problems. The primary aim of pharmacovigilance is to ensure the safety and efficacy of medicines, thereby protecting public health.
In India, pharmacovigilance activities are monitored by the Pharmacovigilance Programme of India (PvPI), which works closely with CDSCO to collect, analyze, and act upon data regarding adverse drug reactions (ADRs). Together, they play a critical role in ensuring that the benefits of drugs outweigh their risks, maintaining high standards of patient safety, and promoting the rational use of medicines.

Flu Vaccine Alert in Bangalore Karnatakaaddon Scans
As flu season approaches, health officials in Bangalore, Karnataka, are urging residents to get their flu vaccinations. The seasonal flu, while common, can lead to severe health complications, particularly for vulnerable populations such as young children, the elderly, and those with underlying health conditions.
Dr. Vidisha Kumari, a leading epidemiologist in Bangalore, emphasizes the importance of getting vaccinated. "The flu vaccine is our best defense against the influenza virus. It not only protects individuals but also helps prevent the spread of the virus in our communities," he says.
This year, the flu season is expected to coincide with a potential increase in other respiratory illnesses. The Karnataka Health Department has launched an awareness campaign highlighting the significance of flu vaccinations. They have set up multiple vaccination centers across Bangalore, making it convenient for residents to receive their shots.
To encourage widespread vaccination, the government is also collaborating with local schools, workplaces, and community centers to facilitate vaccination drives. Special attention is being given to ensuring that the vaccine is accessible to all, including marginalized communities who may have limited access to healthcare.
Residents are reminded that the flu vaccine is safe and effective. Common side effects are mild and may include soreness at the injection site, mild fever, or muscle aches. These side effects are generally short-lived and far less severe than the flu itself.
Healthcare providers are also stressing the importance of continuing COVID-19 precautions. Wearing masks, practicing good hand hygiene, and maintaining social distancing are still crucial, especially in crowded places.
Protect yourself and your loved ones by getting vaccinated. Together, we can help keep Bangalore healthy and safe this flu season. For more information on vaccination centers and schedules, residents can visit the Karnataka Health Department’s official website or follow their social media pages.
Stay informed, stay safe, and get your flu shot today!

problem could be global as water
supplies in many nations are
contaminated.
3. Dr. Pankaj Naram highlights the
recent information about water
consumption as a public service.
Water helps the human body get
rid of waste, keeps it in good
working order and helps maintain
the proper temperature of the skin

4. Becoming dehydrated can lead to very
serious health consequences. Most experts
recommend that adults should consume
between 48 and 64 ounces of water per day
to maintain proper health.
While all kinds of liquids are able to hydrate
the human body, doctors say that water is
the optimal choice due to its purity, lack of
additives and that fact that it has no
calories.
