USFSP leads in online course quality and certification within the USF system. It has 31 Quality Matters certified courses and 17 faculty peer reviewers. To meet the BOG 2025 plan goals, USFSP aims to certify all courses as high quality by 2025, certify 45 courses per year, develop an online teaching certification for faculty by 2018, and ensure 90% of SUS courses are highly rated. This focus on quality standards promotes student success and meets the state's strategic plan for online education.
