This document provides instructions for a lab report assessing two protein determination methods: the Biuret method and UV method. It describes preparing BSA standards and samples to test using each method. For the Biuret method, Biuret reagent is added to samples and standards, which are incubated and measured at 610nm. For the UV method, samples and standards are directly measured at 295nm. Absorbance data is used to generate standard curves and calculate concentrations for samples using the curves. Statistical analysis is performed to assess accuracy, precision, and sensitivity of each method by comparing mean, standard deviation, and coefficient of variation for sample concentrations. The hypothesis is that the Biuret method provides more accurate, precise and sensitive results
