News and Problems Sets the mood of my classes Is all about THEM Makes them feel secure Promotes collaboration Boosts their self-esteem
They are: Real beginners Adults Low- class inmigrants
When we work with the book: Students find the grammar structures easy Always enlarge on the topics covered. Skills developed beyond what is expected for a beginner student Classes are about THEM
Student’s opinions: « Those first minutes in which the teacher asks us how we are, if there is any news, what we did at the weekend, is a great way to get us into a conversation, and gives us the opportunity of speaking without being afraid of making mistakes. It also helps us to get to know each other better and in this way, we feel more confortable and motivated to learning » Ivonne « On my first day at the English class, I was very afraid when I heard the teacher speaking English all the time. As time went by, I got used to it. I really like the classes because I can use what I learn to speak about my things, my family, my life but in English. » Claudia.
