The 7th grade designed costumes according to the patterns from the selected area and learned more about the differences between the costumes due to a multicultural environment.

• Dobrogea region is home to the Danube
Delta, a 2,200-square-mile wildlife reserve
designated by UNESCO as a ”Reservation of
the Biosphere‟.
• It is known for the ancient port city of
Constanța and the seaside resorts that are
stretching along Romania's 152-mile Black
Sea coast.
• Floating reed islands, sand dunes and
waterways offer shelter to over 300 species of
birds, countless fish and 1,150 species of
plants.

5. Dobrogea’s population is ethnically
mixed there are Romanian, Turks,
Bulgarian, Tatars and Urkrainian.
The most popular dance from
Dobrogea is the geamparale, which is quite
different from the other traditional dances
of Romania also the traditional costumes
are a combination of different influences.

costumes for this region. They chose
lively colors for the belts and darker for
the rest of the costume.
