Now, the necessity of DMIS is emphasized.

5. WHAT IS DMIS?
 DMIS is a sort of E-Government system for pre
venting disaster damages.
 DMIS uses the innovative integral platf-orm of i
nformation and communication that will facilitat
e the greater particiati-on of the citizens and th
e social organi-zations.
 DMIS will send reports using any devices of inf
ormation and communication.

6. PURPOSE OF RESEARCH
 The Korea’s e-Government is evaluat-ed as o
ne of the world’s best.
 However, in cases of disaster manag-enent K
orea’s e-Government is vulne-rable.
 So we will figure out current status and pro
blem of Korea’s DMIS by co-mparing with tha
t of other countries like Japan and U.S.
