3.  A web framework is a server-side application
framework that is designed to support the

system using Python’s package manager
 Prerequisites
◦ You must have python and pip
Open the terminal and type the following command
for Django installation.
pip install django

all its parts. set of all files necessary to create
and run an entire Web site
 An app refers to a submodule of the project.
Within a project folder are a set of one or
more subdirectories that havespecific
functionality; these are called apps although
apps don’t necessarily need to be inside the
project folder

Django apps can be foundin a platform called
Pinax.
 Such apps include authentication,messaging
(e-mail verification, notifications, user-to-
user contact, interest groups, etc.), and more
stand-alone features, such as project
management, blogging, tagging, and contact

8. 1) Open the terminal and navigate to the folder where
the project is to be created.
$ django-admin startproject myproject
1) This will create a "myproject" folder with the
following structure
myproject/
manage.py
myproject/
__init__.py
settings.py
urls.py

9.  “myproject” folder is just your project
container or directory. You can rename it to
anything you like.
 Inner myproject folder is the actual python
package of your project which contains some
default files
 __init__.py is an empty file that tells python
that this folder should be treated as package

10.  settings.pycontains the settings or the
configurations of the project
 urls.py This file contains all the links of your
project and the function to call

without requiring a full production environment just
to test some code.
2. It automatically detects when you make changes to
your Python source files and reloads those
modules.
3. This saves time and is convenient over systems that
require you to manually restart every time you edit
your code.
4. The development server knows how to find and
display static media files for the Django
Administration (or “admin”) application so that you
can get started working with that right away.
