Bindiben D. Trivedi has worked for 35 years as a welfare officer at a deaf school. She manages the hostel, staff, and organizes student activities and tours. She has helped deaf students find placements in industries. Trivedi has received 20 awards for her social work and a national award in 2014. She views her work as a labor of love. One of her dreams was to arrange a heritage tour of India for star students, which she accomplished in 2010 by raising 15 lakhs for the tour of 65 places with 50 deaf students, an achievement noted in Limca Book of Records. She advises youth to work for the disabled and give back to their country.
