The Supported Learning Fitness Initiative at City of Glasgow College aims to offer sports and fitness sessions to students with autism or additional learning difficulties, widen their access to college fitness programs, and provide work experience for health and fitness students. The initiative involves health and fitness students coaching supported learning students in various physical activities over 4 weeks, with the goal of boosting participation and retention in fitness programs for supported learning students while developing job skills for the health students. Both students and staff provided positive feedback on the initiative.
