As for Divergent, the society is divided into five factions which divides citizens through an aptitude test: Abnegation the selfless one, Candor the
honest, Dauntless the brave, and Erudite the intelligent. When teenagers come to age, they are able to control their destiny by receiving options.
Stay with the faction the one they were born into or go to the one that matches their personality by the aptitude test (Divergent). Trice takes her
aptitude test and find out that she is a Divergent. Meaning that she has an aptitude toward more than one faction. The society believes the
Divergents are the greatest threat, since they are unable to be controlled. Trice decides to leave the abnegation and join the dauntless, the brave
ones, even without knowing where she belongs. If she did not choose one out of those five faction she would've been factionless. Meaning that if
they do not fit in any of the five factions or gets kicked out of the factions that society has created in the city of Chicago (Divergent).
When it comes to family, a person would risk their lives to protect their family because of blood unites them. In Anthem, family and love were
never things in their society. Equality explains their reproduction "Each spring, men older than twenty, and woman older than eighteen are sent to
the City of Palace of Mating for one night" (Rand 41). Men and women do not get to choose who to mate with. The Council of Eugenics chooses
