At Naraina Vihar, New Delhi, India the author has discovered number of fractured quartz. It is a chance discovery that a author found in a area of 5000 square meter, the underground water is being recharged as it rains. It is a land which is in a slope of 5 feet from east to west and south to north. Thus the rain water automatically flews down to the area where the fractured quartz has been converted in form of small wells to redirect the rain water to underground. The author has devised his own method of diverting good amount of rain water from the drive way to the fractured quartz area, thereby preventing the wastage of rain water down on the road. Here is a discovery that no rain water is wasted now whereas same rain water was being wasted earlier. The presentation also demonstrates that there is high potential of harvesting the rain water through fractured quartz. The author has surveyed the literature and has not been able to find an example of the occurrence of such type of fractured quartz anywhere on earth, hence Discovery. Similarly it is not known in the literature if the rain water can recharge the underground water in this fashion.
