Discovery 1: We should remember that we are created beings. Discovery 2: We should remember that we are both created beings and fallen beings with hearts that can be deceitful. Scripture references indicate that due to our fallen nature, we cannot understand our own hearts and are in need of rescue from sin and death through faith in Christ.
