To be saved, one must believe with both their head and heart. With the head, one acknowledges key facts - that we are sinful, Jesus is God, Jesus' sacrifice took away sins, and Jesus rose from the dead. However, head knowledge alone is not enough. One must also believe with their heart through an act of will, committing total dependence and trust in Christ. To be saved, one must respond to God's invitation by inviting Him into their heart, repenting of sins, and starting a new relationship with Christ. Salvation comes through confessing with the mouth that Jesus is Lord and believing in one's heart that God raised Him from the dead.

8. The second Way we must believe. Volitionally- (an act of the will) This means to commit total dependence and trust in Christ. Willingly invite God into your heart. Repent from sin Start your new relationship with Christ.
