Electric Winches
Electric winches are motorized pulling machines for moving
heavy loads or towing vehicles with less effort than manual
winches. Designed for intermittent use, they have a line that
attaches to the load and a motor that rotates a drum to wind in the
line and draw the load toward the winch.
Different Tyes Of Electric Winches
There are many types of electric winches but most often
these are used in industries-
•Trailer Winch
•Premium Winches
•Industrial Winches
•Manual Hand Winches
•Hydraulic Winches
Trailer Winch
Trailers are used to haul goods that are very heavy in
weight or huge in size. These winches have cables that
are designed to make the loading and unloading of
commodities smoother and easier.
Premium Winches
Premium winches are of the highest quality to ensure
long trouble free operation. They feature ultra high
strength shaft bushes, a stainless steel drive shaft, drive
pawl and spring system for maximum corrosion
resistance.
Industrial Winches
Industrial winches are mechanical devices used to pull a
heavy load, typically horizontally. They are used to pull
in, let out, or otherwise adjust the tension of a rope or
cable.
Manual Hand Winch
A hand winch or manual winch is a pulling or lifting
device with a rope, strap, cable, or chain wound around
a rotating drum that is operated by a hand crank. Hand
winches are most often ratchet devices or use spur or
worm gears to operate the drum.
Hydraulic winch
Hydraulic winch is an important equipment of marine
industry that operates off with the hydraulic system of a
vehicle and does not require a strong battery for smooth
functioning. As compared to en electric winch, an
hydraulic winch can be pulled for longer time without
overheating.
