Fat also helps to insulate the body and protect some organs. Stored energy is the safest answer but

Malnutrition can lead to being overweight as well as being underweight. Not having enough of the
right vitamins and minerals can lead to getting a deficiency disease . Remember, you don’t need to
know the names of any deficiency diseases.
