When times get tough, everyone looks for someone who can convince them that it's going to be okay. But how do you really know? This sermon presents three solid reasons from 1 Peter 1:1-12 to help us see that no matter what we're going through, it's going to be okay!
Here is my attempt to explain in short fashion what the Bible has to tell us about the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, complete with my own short testimony of who God “zapped” me in as a Marine Lieutenant in Japan in 1973. God wants to fill us all again and again with His Spirit so we can be powerful and fruitful witnesses for Him here and around the world.
Pray for God to fill you again and to baptize you with His Spirit if you have never experienced that.

When we pray, we will see that everyone seems to have a different object of prayer. Some people pray to God the Father, and some people pray to Jesus Christ. It seems that they are all gods, and it seems to be the same as whoever prays.
Now we will study whether there is any difference between them from the scriptures of the Bible. We will see the roles of each other from the three-in-one God and their mutual connection. In this way, when you pray, you will not pray to the wrong object

I argue that Jesus is giving a messianic taste of what's to come. As one scholar notes, "He changes water of Judaism into the wine of Christianity" (Morris, 155).In doing so, He gives a preview of the new messianic wine (Jer 31:12; Joel 3:18; Amos 9:13-14; Is 25:6; Hos 14:7). and the messianic wedding/wedding banquet (OT: Hos 2:19f.; Is 54:4-8; Is 62:5; NT: Mt 22:1f., Mt 25:1f.; Mk 2:19-20; Rev 19:7-9; Eph 5:25) -- which, in the end times, will be enjoyed by all who put their faith (i.e., active trust) in Christ (cf. _MINISTRY_Encounter #4_Being Led by the Holy SpiritRohan Dredge
In the fourth in the ENCOUNTER series I take you through the experiences and expectations you can have when you are being LED by the Holy Spirit. Romans 8:14 says that those who are “led by the Spirit are children of God” If you are a Christian it is part of your nature to be led by the Holy Spirit.
But where? And How? What can you look for that will serve as evidence that say you and I are being led by the Spirit. In this scripture laden slidedeck I show you the four things that you can expect from the leading of the Holy Spirit. Look for them, co-operate with them and celebrate the transformations you will experience in you life.
Watch for the caveat at the front of the message as well. As I have studied and dug deeper and deeper into this topic the responsibility of the hearer (That’s you and I) to live a surrendered life with a submitted soul and obedient hands is essential to getting the most out of your relationship with the Holy Spirit.
Enjoy being led, it’s the best way to lead!

Foundation Stone #09: Imparting the Spirit and His Gifts by the Laying On of ...Rick Bruderick
It's absolutely incredible to receive the Holy Spirit when someone who already has the Holy Spirit lays hands on you. You can read about what incredible things happened in the Early Church, and you can experience it yourself today.
The second baptism that God has for His children is the baptism of the Holy Spirit. This is the 5th foundation stone in this teaching series. How does God display His power in your life? Which gift of the Holy Spirit have you received?
My friend, you don’t need to keep waiting until the Lord tells you what your call is. He already stated it in the scriptures. He charged us to do the very same things that he was doing. He was not going to ask us to do something that we were not able to do. He put it in our spirit everything that we could ever need to do what he commanded us to do.
Pastor Jimmy finishes our DNA series by sharing the importance of being a Spirit-Filled Witness.
We are to be:

>>Distinct YET Engaged with the World.
>>Sanctified (Set Apart) YET Sent into the World!
_Ministry_Encounter #5_The Baptism of the Holy SpiritRohan Dredge
In this fifth stage in the ENCOUNTER series I teach on the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. One of the most empowering experiences a Christian can have in their spiritual journey.
As I prepared and taught this, I was super mindful of the spectrum of beliefs and experiences around this topic. Even in my home Church we have a series of experiences that are quite different to one another.
That said, I’m convinced in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit as an empowering experience available to believers so they are more useful and effective for Kingdom orientated ministry.
I also cover off on the topic of “speaking in other tongues” and how it is available to believers as an empowering and edifying discipline for our discipleship.
You’re invited to head into a deeper, more dynamic and empowered relationship with Jesus. The key is the personal spiritual revolution that comes from the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

Exploring the Mindfulness Understanding Its Benefits.pptxMartaLoveguard
Slide 1: Title: Exploring the Mindfulness: Understanding Its Benefits
Slide 2: Introduction to Mindfulness
Mindfulness, defined as the conscious, non-judgmental observation of the present moment, has deep roots in Buddhist meditation practice but has gained significant popularity in the Western world in recent years. In today's society, filled with distractions and constant stimuli, mindfulness offers a valuable tool for regaining inner peace and reconnecting with our true selves. By cultivating mindfulness, we can develop a heightened awareness of our thoughts, feelings, and surroundings, leading to a greater sense of clarity and presence in our daily lives.
Slide 3: Benefits of Mindfulness for Mental Well-being
Practicing mindfulness can help reduce stress and anxiety levels, improving overall quality of life.
Mindfulness increases awareness of our emotions and teaches us to manage them better, leading to improved mood.
Regular mindfulness practice can improve our ability to concentrate and focus our attention on the present moment.
Slide 4: Benefits of Mindfulness for Physical Health
Research has shown that practicing mindfulness can contribute to lowering blood pressure, which is beneficial for heart health.
Regular meditation and mindfulness practice can strengthen the immune system, aiding the body in fighting infections.
Mindfulness may help reduce the risk of chronic diseases such as type 2 diabetes and obesity by reducing stress and improving overall lifestyle habits.
Slide 5: Impact of Mindfulness on Relationships
Mindfulness can help us better understand others and improve communication, leading to healthier relationships.
By focusing on the present moment and being fully attentive, mindfulness helps build stronger and more authentic connections with others.
Mindfulness teaches us how to be present for others in difficult times, leading to increased compassion and understanding.
Slide 6: Mindfulness Techniques and Practices
Focusing on the breath and mindful breathing can be a simple way to enter a state of mindfulness.
Body scan meditation involves focusing on different parts of the body, paying attention to any sensations and feelings.
Practicing mindful walking and eating involves consciously focusing on each step or bite, with full attention to sensory experiences.
Slide 7: Incorporating Mindfulness into Daily Life
You can practice mindfulness in everyday activities such as washing dishes or taking a walk in the park.
Adding mindfulness practice to daily routines can help increase awareness and presence.
Mindfulness helps us become more aware of our needs and better manage our time, leading to balance and harmony in life.
Slide 8: Summary: Embracing Mindfulness for Full Living
Mindfulness can bring numerous benefits for physical and mental health.
Regular mindfulness practice can help achieve a fuller and more satisfying life.
Mindfulness has the power to change our perspective and way of perceiving the world, leading to deeper se
In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.
