The Greek team traveled to Hamm, Germany for a school exchange program. They visited several educational and cultural sites, including the Town Hall, a robotics museum, and Christmas markets in Hamm and Dortmund. The students participated in workshops on cyberbullying and collaborated with German students to create a movie. On the last day, the Greek students presented their home country, city, and school to the German students before departing.
7. On Monday we also visited the Town
Hall in Hamm and we met the
mayor.
8. When we came back, we attended some of the
lessons the students have in their school!
9. Tuesday ( 4.12.2018)
On Tuesday we visited the Nixdorf
robotics museum in Rhymern. The
sights of the museum were mainly
robots and other interesting machines
10. When we arrived, a robot guide was
waiting for us to sow us some of the
most important sights
11. After the small tour, we had the
opportunity to take a look at sights
ourselves and even play with some of
them
12. It was a great experience and we
learned a lot of things about
technology
14. Workshops
• When we arrived in Germany,
we knew that our trip had an
educational side. We were
going to learn about cyber
bullying and its effects on
children. That was our main
activity on Wednesday.
15. • We used ipads provided by
the school to explore all
aspects of cyber bullying.
The teachers encouraged us
to get creative and try to
make our own movie. So,
we co operated with our
exchange students, we
wrote our own scenario and
finally achieved our goal.
16. Dortmund
• Our adventure didn’t end
there. After school, our
exchange students decided
that we should visit
Dortmund.
17. • Dortmund was amazing. It’s
a pretty big city near Hamm
with an even bigger mall. Of
course, it has a Christmas
market that we spent a lot
of time at.
18. • Last but not least, there is
something really fascinating
about Dortmund. In the
middle of the Christmas
market stands the tallest
Christmas tree in Germany.
It is approximately 40
meters tall. The view was
breathtaking.
20. VISITING MUNSTER
On Thursday morning,
the Erasmus team
visited the big city
Munster. Munster is
known as the bicycle
capital of Germany.
21. We visited a lot of
interesting and
picturesque
sights. One of
them was the
Catholic Church.
22. We also went to the
Weihnachtsmarkt
or else the
Christmas market.
There, we had
time to explore
the place and buy
some souvenirs.
23. THE ‘GOODBYE DINNER’
On Thursday afternoon, all the
families gathered together so
as to celebrate and have
dinner. We discussed about a
lot things and exchanged
opinions and ideas. We spent
quality time with one another
and made a lot of new
friends. After the dinner, we
concluded that we are all so
similar and so different at the
same time.
25. Friday ( 7.12.2018)
Today, the kids who participate in the Erasmus project
from all the countries, presented their country, their
city and their school to the other students. We learned
a lot of things and we had fun!
26. After this, we went to the Maximare which is a
waterpark in Hamm. We had a lot of fun
together and we had the chance to know each
other better.
