majority of high potential risks before completion of the
first engineering sample. Driving Design-in to Design -win,
which reduces costs derive from repeated testing and
design changes.

thermal – mechanical multi physics coupling issues, and
work towards a balanced and feasible design solution.

interacted problems and analyze the problem.
❑ Hands on FEM simulation, such as
a) Solid mechanics problem: mechanical shock,
vibration and fatigue.
b) Aim at stress and fracture caused by multi-
physics problems, like thermo-mechanical, fluid-
mechanical etc.
c) Reliability analysis: probability analysis, life cycle
d) Curve fitting for material property
e) Design of experiment (DOE): use parametric
analysis to optimized design.
f) Multi-body-dynamics: analyze property of
mechanical manipulation
❑ Reliability Engineering capability: (Pass CRE exam in 2018):
DFMEA, PFMEA, FTA, probability design, reliability / failure
analysis .
❑ Pass Intel shock strain methodology training and exam,
familiar with BGA / LGA strain measurement and analysis,
and combining the following knowledge and capabilities
to develop solder joint failure solutions:
a) Solder alloy theory
b) JEDEC/IPC international specifications for SMT
