Gerard Muttukumaru holds a Master of Commerce degree with

The Markley Healthcare Consulting Group, Southern California and Founder/Chairman, the Southern
California Center for Family Business. He is an Adjunct Professor of Global Business teaching in
undergraduate, MBA and Executive Education Programs of universities in California. He has also taught
at the University of California. Courses he teaches include Leadership, Change, Global Business and
Strategy, Global Marketing, Cross-Cultural Management, Entrepreneurship, Doing Business Overseas,
Services Marketing, Customer Relationship Management, Entrepreneurship, Human Resources and
Talent Management and Developing a World Class Public Service (at SLIDA, Sri Lanka).
He addresses management audiences worldwide, is a keynote speaker at several global forums, has
published numerous articles on international business and healthcare management and been
interviewed in the global media. His articles have been published in the Singapore and Malaysia Straits
Times, a leading Southern California Business Journal, the Los Angeles times, California Medicine, the Sri
