This document outlines homework assignments for a marketing course focused on cloud technologies. It instructs students to:
1) Identify their top 10 raving fans and beta test their "Made to Stick" story incorporating a cloud angle.
2) Review two other students' beta stories and leave comments.
3) Set up three listening posts by monitoring relevant online resources, and share what they've done in the course notes.
4) Engage with their 10 fans weekly with one or two cloud-related touches each, and record the interactions.
5) Make a total of eight connections among their fans based on common interests.
6) Advocate for their fans by being nice.
5. “Made To Stick” Criteria S- Simple-what is the core of your idea? U- Unexpected-people pay attention when something defies their expectations C- Concrete-solid images and real data make your idea more believable C- Credible-who is telling the story is important. E- Emotional-let's not kid ourselves. We are emotional beings at our core S- Story-People love stories and pay more attention when they want to find out "what happens at the end." @jer979
