Tomorrow's population will have a home
because today's developers had the
daring and vision to foresee their needs
6. It Is Energy Efficient
Energy-efficient homes cost less to own than non-efficient homes,
though they may start off with higher price tags.
Older existing home Same Home
with energy improvements
Home price $ 150,000 $ 154,816
(90% mortgage, 8%
interest)
Loan amount $ 135,000 139,334
Monthly payment* $ 991 $1,023
Energy bills + $ 186 + $ 93
The true monthly cost of $ 1,177 $ 1,116
home ownership
Monthly savings $ - 61
Energy Efficient Mortgages, tax credits, grants and rebates are also available to
support the purchase of energy efficient OHOMEs which are built to be 40% more
energy efficient than the average U.S. home.
*Interest rate 7.5%, down payment of 10%, 30-year term, principal & interest only (tax & insurance not factored.)

7. It’s Healthier
Research has shown that, on average, Americans
spend more than 90% of their time indoors
(Robinson and Nelson, 1995)
Consequently, exposure to air pollutants is often greater indoors than
outdoors, even when outdoor concentrations are higher, as is
typically the case with ozone.
Results from the Children's Health Study - California Air Resource Board:
• Air pollution harms children's lungs for life.
• Children living in communities with pollution had lungs that
both developed and grew more slowly and may have
permanent adverse effects in adulthood.

8. It Has Revolutionized the
Construction Industry
• The OHOME can be made in the factory while
the permits and site work is done, regardless of
weather conditions.
• Multi-Units can be erected in 50% less time than
regular construction. One OHOME can then be
erected on site in 3-4 weeks with as little as a
crew of four.
9. It Has Revolutionized the
Construction Industry
• Construction waste on site is minimized due to
factory fabricated steel insulated panelized
wall systems that are pre-plumbed and
electrical ready.
• Future repairs of walls are economical and
easy due to ease of pulling out wall panels
and replacing them quickly.
10. It’s Better For the Planet
• Energy efficient buildings and alternative energy
sources get the planet off nonrenewable fossil fuels
that pollute our air, water and land and won’t last
forever.
• Living within your means = saving the earth’s natural
resources so the human population can survive.
