Day Activities- Detailed information Methodologies and expected results
1 Games and stories – getting to know each other;
Creating stories through games- in order to create positive
group atmosphere, break down social and cultural barriers
and help people to get to know each other
Methodology: group work, team work, project-based learning, problem solving methods.
Expected results: Exchanging experience and enhance communication competence in English;
promoting basic skills: language (written and oral interactions); competences of intercultural /
multicultural teamwork;

Day 2 -Workshop1/2
1. Developing your Digital Story
- How to Develop a Digital Story
- Procedure and Tools Storyboarding
- How to create a storyboard?
2. Practical activities
Methodology:
- Pre-writing: brainstorming, collecting images, researching, outlining, and storyboarding.
Storyboards are visual representations that aid in the the creation process of digital
storytelling
- Drafting: creating a script and developing form
- Revising: modifying images and organization
- Editing: timing, images, and narration
- Publishing: the final product
- Student participants will also learn how to work with sound programs (Audacity), recording,
editing and uploading podcasts. (…)
- Students will develop activities with teachers in group / team work.
Expected results: Exchanging of experience and good practice, creative tools and the use of Free
Digital Storytelling Tools for uploading podcasts and videos.
Day 2 Cultural Heritage Day; ‘Coimbra in stories’ - mixed groups
visit cultural heritage sites around Coimbra and gather
material for digital storytelling, which will be made via
eTwinning platform as a post-meeting activity.

Methodology: Group work, team work, role play, project-based learning, discussion, problem-solving
methods.
Expected results: Enhanced critical thinking skills, skills to create podcast, videos, and diaries.
Day 3 Inclusive games and stories - Equity , diversity, inclusion
and game-based learning.
A gestural interpreter to promote awareness to sign
language.
Methodology: Group work, team work, project-based learning, discussion, problem-solving methods.
Expected results: This activity aims to promoting awareness to Inclusion, diversity and sign language
and different strategies to work with deaf students.
Day 4 Activity
- Paint your story.
Students will try to tell a story or a special moment of their
lives by painting or drawing something that symbolizes it;
- Building a panel -sentences and phrases about the
project, hands of everyone with group photo;
Methodology: the students will develop arts and craft activities with specialized teachers, in team
work.
Creating individually short sentences/ words reflecting the opinions and expectations of the students’
and teachers about the project and the mobility;
Expected results: These activities aim to promoting literacy development through storytelling and art
, sharing similarities and celebrating differences;
Overall Expected results:
• Creating a positive group atmosphere, break down social and cultural barriers and help people to get to know each other;
• Use of collaborative learning methodologies as a strategy to encourage the students’ participation in the learning process; integration of special needs as part of
the learning groups.
• Sharing of best practices especially in dealing with difficult students and students with special needs and in specific contexts;
• Inclusive types of activities implemented.
• Raising awareness to diversity and gender equality.
• Get a positive approach towards activities and events, showing exploratory impulses and curiosity about learning.
• Developing social skills and seeking others to share responses, experiences and friendship.
• Developing safe, secure and trusting relationships through responding to others and demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to change.

Game Literacy and learning 09-15 October/2022 Activity Type: Short-term exchanges of groups of pupils Activity Title: Stories Power Leading Organisation : Agrupamento de Escolas Coimbra Centro (E10079138, Portugal) Day Activities- Detailed information Methodologies and expected results 1 Games and stories – getting to know each other; Creating stories through games- in order to create positive group atmosphere, break down social and cultural barriers and help people to get to know each other Methodology: group work, team work, project-based learning, problem solving methods. Expected results: Exchanging experience and enhance communication competence in English; promoting basic skills: language (written and oral interactions); competences of intercultural / multicultural teamwork; Day 1/2 Day 2 -Workshop1/2 1. Developing your Digital Story - How to Develop a Digital Story - Procedure and Tools Storyboarding - How to create a storyboard? 2. Practical activities Methodology: - Pre-writing: brainstorming, collecting images, researching, outlining, and storyboarding. Storyboards are visual representations that aid in the the creation process of digital storytelling - Drafting: creating a script and developing form - Revising: modifying images and organization - Editing: timing, images, and narration - Publishing: the final product - Student participants will also learn how to work with sound programs (Audacity), recording, editing and uploading podcasts. Expected results: Exchanging of experience and good practice, creative tools and the use of Free Digital Storytelling Tools for uploading podcasts and videos.

Day 2 Cultural Heritage Day; ‘Coimbra in stories’ - mixed groups visit cultural heritage sites around Coimbra and gather material for digital storytelling, which will be made via eTwinning platform as a post-meeting activity. A gestural interpreter to promote awareness to sign language. Methodology: Group work, team work, project-based learning, discussion, problem-solving methods. Expected results: This activity aims to promoting awareness to Inclusion, diversity and sign language and different strategies to work with deaf students. Day 4 Activity - Paint your story. Students will try to tell a story or a special moment of their lives by painting or drawing something that symbolizes it; - Building a panel -sentences and phrases about the project, hands of everyone with group photo; Methodology: the students will develop arts and craft activities with specialized teachers, in team work. Creating individually short sentences/ words reflecting the opinions and expectations of the students’ and teachers about the project and the mobility; Expected results: These activities aim to promoting literacy development through storytelling and art , sharing similarities and celebrating differences;

Overall Expected results: • Creating a positive group atmosphere, break down social and cultural barriers and help people to get to know each other; • Use of collaborative learning methodologies as a strategy to encourage the students’ participation in the learning process; integration of special needs as part of the learning groups. • Sharing of best practices especially in dealing with difficult students and students with special needs and in specific contexts; • Inclusive types of activities implemented. • Raising awareness to diversity and gender equality. • Get a positive approach towards activities and events, showing exploratory impulses and curiosity about learning. • Developing social skills and seeking others to share responses, experiences and friendship. • Developing safe, secure and trusting relationships through responding to others and demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to change.
