The 4-day activity involves using games and storytelling to help students get to know each other and break down barriers. Students will learn how to create digital stories through workshops on storyboarding, scriptwriting, and using audio and video tools. They will then visit cultural sites in Coimbra and gather material for digital stories about local legends. Other activities include using inclusive games to promote awareness of sign language and diversity, and using art to tell stories and celebrate similarities and differences. The overall goals are to encourage participation, sharing of best practices, awareness of diversity, and developing social and learning skills through collaborative methodologies.

Methodology:
- Pre-writing: brainstorming, collecting images, researching, outlining, and storyboarding.
Storyboards are visual representations that aid in the the creation process of digital
storytelling
- Drafting: creating a script and developing form
- Revising: modifying images and organization
- Editing: timing, images, and narration
- Publishing: the final product
- Student participants will also learn how to work with sound programs (Audacity), recording,

Expected results: Exchanging of experience and good practice, creative tools and the use of Free
Digital Storytelling Tools for uploading podcasts and videos.
2. Day 2 Cultural Heritage Day; ‘Coimbra in stories’ - mixed groups
visit cultural heritage sites around Coimbra and gather
material for digital storytelling, which will be made via
eTwinning platform as a post-meeting activity.

Expected results: This activity aims to promoting awareness to Inclusion, diversity and sign language
and different strategies to work with deaf students.
Day 4 Activity
- Paint your story.
Students will try to tell a story or a special moment of their
lives by painting or drawing something that symbolizes it;
- Building a panel -sentences and phrases about the
project, hands of everyone with group photo;
Methodology: the students will develop arts and craft activities with specialized teachers, in team
work.
Creating individually short sentences/ words reflecting the opinions and expectations of the students’
and teachers about the project and the mobility;
Expected results: These activities aim to promoting literacy development through storytelling and art
, sharing similarities and celebrating differences;
3. Overall Expected results:
• Creating a positive group atmosphere, break down social and cultural barriers and help people to get to know each other;
• Use of collaborative learning methodologies as a strategy to encourage the students’ participation in the learning process; integration of special needs as part of
the learning groups.
