 Digital education means digital learning. It is a
type of learning that is supported by digital
technology and its effective use.
 Teachers and professors find it convenient to
prepare their teaching plans aided by digital
technology.
 Teaching and learning becomes a smoother
experience as it includes animations and audio-
visual effects.
 Digital learning guarantee more participation
from students as the current generation of
students are well-versed with laptops, I-pads,
and smart phones.

 In India, mobile penetration is nearing a billion
people with over 200 million connected to the
internet.
 With evolution of technologies such as cloud,
data centers(IOT) and video based learning
there is huge potential for technology to be
integrated with the Education Industry.
 Fiber optic networks are a type of high-speed
wire line network offering improved speed,
security and bandwidth over legacy copper
systems.
SENSORS
 It provides educators a new way to conveniently
assess every student’s learning status in diverse
dimensions.
 For example, a cushion with pressure sensors can
find the variety of learners’ sitting postures.
 Moreover, motion sensor could enhance young
students’ motor skills and introduce new ways of
problem solving skills development.
 Optical Sensors which measures the physical
quantity of light rays and convert it into
electrical signal which can be easily readable by
user or an electronic instrument/device
