The company Deka began operations in 1992 importing and marketing foodstuffs and later producing detergents in 1996. Their factory uses modern Balestra technology for washing powder production, mixing ingredients through a spray tower drying method with hot air. The factory's production consists of processing and transporting solid raw materials, automatic dosing of liquids and solids, mixing, and spraying the mixture through production units with hot air filtering. Deka currently has 75 products, controls 50% of the market, and distributes to 40 retailers in Albania, Kosovo and Macedonia.
