In Greece, December traditions center around Christmas celebrations for children. Families decorate Christmas trees together early in the month and make traditional sweets like "Koyrabiedes" and "Melomakarona" to fill homes with wonderful smells. Important religious name days are celebrated on December 6th, 25th and January 1st. Christmas is the best thing for each child here in Greece . So there are many
tradition and celebration until on Christmas. First of all we have many name
days which some of them are:
 6 December = Agiou Nikolaou
 25 December = Emmanouil / xrusi
 1 January = Agiou Basili
Moreover in early December we decorate the Christmas tree altogether and
we cook two of the most common traditional sweets which called
‘’Koyrabiedes ‘’ and ‘’Melomakarona’’ and for the reason all our home smells
wonderful. Finally the kids say the Carols from home to home:
 24 December = Carols of Christmas
 31 December = New years Carols
 5 January = Carols of Lights
