3. The Compensation Policies are the official policies that
describe possible situations that would entitle
Opportunity Providers (OP) and/or Exchange
Participants (EP) to receive compensation in the event
an exchange is not approved, realized or
completed.
These policies have the following two objectives:
* Opportunity Providers, Exchange Participants, will be
compensated in case AIESEC doesn't oblige to rules
stated in the contract signed and or in AEPP.
* Clarification of responsible to proceed with the
reimbursements.
4. OP - Opportunity Providers
An organization can be a start-up, non-profit, NGO, an educational institution or
any other type of organization that is confirmed to receive an AIESEC
Exchange Participant (EP) and provides an opportunity for them.

The person is considered an Exchange Participant when they sign the Acceptance Note, the AIESEC
Hosting Entity accepts their application and they pay the AIESEC Sending Entity and sign the
contract.
