Six Myths about Ontologies: The Basics of Formal Ontology
Daxtra parsing key elements
1. DAXTRA PARSING is the conversion of free-form CVs into structured information suitable for storage, reporting
and manipulation by a computer.
From resumes submitted in all important incoming formats, it extracts contact information, work experience,
educational details, key skills mentioned, salary requirements, preferred next job, preferred location, and much
more.
All the information it extracts it returns to you in an XML format (HR-XML, XML-Resume, HR-ML, etc.) that also
includes back references to where the information was extracted from in the text of the resume.
This will include creating new candidate records and updating existing records on the database and populating
them with the following details from CVs (provided that the details are explicitly mentioned therein):
Personal Address Contact Other
First name Street-address-1 Email Position sought
Last Name Street- address-2 Email2 Salary sought
Salutation Town Home telephone Location sought
Gender County/State Mobile telephone Relocation
Date of Birth Country Work telephone Marital Status
