Introduction to Database Design
The hands-on course will help students
learn to design and manage databases and
understand the Data Definition Language,
Data Manipulation Language and Data
Definition Language. Database design
courses will include understanding
various data types, Tables, Views, Store
Procedures, Trigger, indexes, Data
reliability and integrity. Students will
learn to design and develop database as
part of the project.
Prerequisite: Knowledge of computer
basic or equivalent.

Introduction to SQL & T-SQL
The hands-on course will help the student
learn to write from simple to complex
SQL queries. SQL is used to query the
database to manage data through the
application, to analysis data, and to
generate business reports. Students will
learn to use SQL and T-SQL
programming language to add, delete,
update, edit, use formula and function and
sort and search data in the database.
Students will use SQL language as part the
project.
Prerequisite: Introduction to Database

MTA 98-364: Database Administration
Fundamentals Test Prep
The hands-on course will help students to
gain the fundamental knowledge and
skills required to manage and administer
Microsoft SQL Server database. Students
will practice creating databases, managing
data with SQL, apply database concepts,
create view, stored procedure, triggers,
account, assign permission and
understand backup & recovery. Students
will work with the database as part the
project.
Prerequisite: Introduction to SQL or
equivalent.

This MTA Training course helps students prepare for MTA Exam 98-364. Candidates for this course are in the process of expanding their
