EMPLOYMENT HISTORY
St. John Ambulance Oct 2014 - present
Newcastle, Westgate road.
Currently employed as an ambulance driver. This role includes the emergency transport, treatment of patients in the
North East of England. I am also required to have a good mechanical knowledge of the vehicle and repairs and
maintenance are to be done by me.
Royal Air Force Regiment Sept 2010 - Oct 2014
Lossiemouth, Moray
Employed in the RAF Regiment where I was responsible for infantry soldiering, driving and
mechanical maintenance of heavily armoured vehicles. This meant long hours behind a wheel and
high levels of maintenance in torqueing, tightening and breaking of bolted connections of
pipelines. Mechanical work was executed in a hostile environment where it was essential for the
driver of the vehicle to maintain high levels of mechanical responsibility to ensure the safety of
the crew.
I am also a trained Combat Tracker and I was required to gather intelligence on low risk
and high risk operations. Being the subject matter expert in this field I was responsible for
delivering a quick set of orders prior to the task in coalition with my commanding officer and a
full debrief post patrol. It was essential here that I conveyed clear communication and leadership
skills in order for the task to be completed safely and efficiently.
Being heavily involved in the Medical Emergency Response Team (MERT) on Camp
Bastion HERRICK 16 and 19, I was tasked in four man teams with the force protection of a
medical team on a Chinook, then ultimately the medical assistance aiding the Paramedic, Nurse
and Doctor regarding the casualties on board once the fire fight has ceased.
Raymond Fenwick Engineering Sept 2009 - Sept 2010
Experience in bolt tensioning/torqueing of flange connections in a construction factory for metal
work to supply offshore demands, manufacturing the supply of bolts and pipework. This job
required me to use hydraulic tensioning and torqueing equipment in the breaking and tightening of
bolted connections.
Sky broadband and television Aug 2008 - Sept 2009
Worked as a technical advisor on production, installation and maintenance of sky broadband and
television products gaining my first valuable experience of communication and the necessity of
customer satisfaction.
