Profile
I am a highly driven and motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills. I aspire to practise self -
discipline and the fulfilment of my obligations to the best of my ability at all times. I am confident and
capable of working as an individual or as part of a team and keeping to extremely precise deadlines whilst
undertaking my role within an organisation. During my time with the Royal Navy, I was required at times
to work in cramped conditions, under extreme stress for extended periods of time. Teamwork, punctuality
and a positive attitude became paramount to achieving the command aim. With no outside aid available, I
became adept at fault-finding and problem solving, a personal attribute that I would wish to take with me
into my new career.
Work Experience
Royal Navy Submarines (May 2010 - May 2014)
In the Royal Navy, my role was as a Engineering Technican Weapons Engineer Submariner (Tactical

equipment forward of the nuclear reactor airlock, this included but was not limited to the sanitary
systems, the garbage ejector system, the hot and cold water systems, the cooling systems, hydraulic plants
as well as all the electrical equipment fwd. In situatiuons of emergency, we became the damage control
team, requiring an in depth knowledge of all the systems mentioned to be able to isolate, report and
repair. Every member of the ships company was also required to be qualified in Submariner Escape
Training, Firefighting and first aid. In addtion, when the Submarine was alongside in a naval base, I held
a Cat D nuclear watch-keeping postion, the submarine command console. I was in charge on monitoring
and controlling the water internal to the submarine, along with all firefight ing systems, hydraulics,
electrics and ventilation. I was required to be able to adapt to any emergency and carry out emergency
actions on the SCC within the time allocated, and provide a full comprehensive brief to the officer in
command.
KFC Team Member (Sep 2009 - Dec 2009)
I was required to liase with customers, to sell the offers and meal deals available as well as give adivce on
what meals were available for certain religions/dietrary requirements. I was involved in stock taking, the
receving of deliveries and the preparation of food. Working as part of a cohesieve unit this job taught me
the importance of time-keeping, working well as part of a team and the hierarchy of management.
